Advanced Practice Nurse

Alyssa is a family nurse practitioner in Peoria, IL. She currently works full time in Internal Medicine and part-time in a rural wound care clinic. She is wound care certified by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy. Working in wound care, Alyssa has found that this is often an area of healthcare many providers are not comfortable with. Unfortunately, this often results in patients receiving substandard care. Alyssa recognizes not everyone loves wounds, but is passionate about increasing knowledge and awareness of modern wound care. Alyssa lives in Peoria, IL with her husband and two young children.
