 Insight Global is looking for a Physician Assistant to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of 2 physicians. In an electrophysiology (EP) lab, a Physician Assistant (PA) plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the lab and the delivery of high-quality patient care. They begin by conducting thorough patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, and preparing patients for various electrophysiology procedures. During procedures such as cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and cardiac mapping, the PA assists the electrophysiologists by handling specialized equipment and monitoring patients' vital signs. They meticulously document the details of each procedure and patient responses, ensuring accurate records. Post-procedure, the PA provides essential care, monitoring recovery, managing any complications, and educating patients on follow-up care. Additionally, they collaborate closely with the electrophysiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and maintain the efficiency of the EP lab.

Physician Assistant:

• Baccalaureate degree or at least two years of college credit, or graduation from an ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant) approved program.
• Current license as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure.
• Cardiology experience is a plus
