Emergency Medicine Physician – Mesquite, TX Compensation & Contract

• Hourly Rate: $95/hr (1099 contractor status)

• Malpractice Coverage: Included, with tail

ED Volume & Setup

• Annual Volume: ~34,000 patient visits

• Beds: 26-bed Emergency Department

• EMR System: Epic

⏰ Shift Schedule

• Shift Options:

  • 8 AM–6 PM

  • 12 PM–10 PM

  • 6 PM–64 AM

• Full-Time: 12 shifts/month (must include 2 weekend shifts)

• Part-Time: 6 shifts/month (must include 1 weekend shift + holiday rotation)

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

• NP or PA, board-certified

• 2 years of Recent Hospital ER Experience

• Valid Texas medical license or eligible to get one

• Experience with high-volume ED environments and Epic EMR

• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate within a multidisciplinary team
