Attention NP's: Make Your Voice Heard Tomorrow-John Keating needs your VOTE!
Posted almost 8 years ago by Peggy Ostrander
We often complain about our voice not being heard when important decisions are made at the State Capitol - decisions which impact our future. If we don't make our voice heard at election time, we can't blame anyone except ourselves.
Tomorrow, you can make a difference in an important Republican primary runoff election, as voters in your district will be choosing a new state representative for HD 33. This district includes some or all of the Collin County cities of Frisco, Celina, Prosper, Anna, Blue Ridge, Farmersville, Nevada, and Royse City, and all of Rockwall County.
John Keating is a decorated Gulf War Veteran who has taken the time to hear our concerns, be briefed on our issues, and promised to have an open door to our members when in office. Keating, a current member of the Frisco City Council, is "A" Rated by the TNP PAC.
His opponent received an infusion of funding from a group that frequently opposes NP's, the same group that has endorsed him. His opponent ignored our survey and did not even respond to our overtures.
It's important that we turn out in support of John Keating on Election Day, tomorrow, May 24. The polls are open from 7 AM until 7 PM. This election is expected to be close, so your vote can have a huge impact. Find your voting location here at this link http://keatingfortexas.com/voting/
(In Collin County, you may vote at any voting location on Election Day – regardless of your precinct number or city of residence. In Rockwall County, you must vote according to your precinct number.)
Please take 10 minutes on Tuesday to vote for John Keating in the Republican runoff for State Representative.
