2020 NTNP CE Conference Postponed

Posted about 4 years ago

As the news surrounding the COVID-19 virus continued to raise concerns, the NTNP conference planning committee members monitored the situation closely to determine any impact on our attendees, speakers, and vendors.  Following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as updates from Dallas County health officials, the NTNP Board met and determined to postpone our 2020 CE Conference.

We appreciate all of our speakers and committee members who dedicated their time and skills in preparing for the conference.  Additionally, we are grateful for the vendors who had already stepped up to sponsor our wonderful event. Most importantly, we are thankful to the many members and nonmembers who already signed up for the conference.

We are truly disappointed that we cannot host this year’s conference as planned for April 3 & 4, 2020. However, the good news is that we worked with our host hotel and were able to find a new date for the conference.  This new date will be July 31 – August 1, 2020.

We are hopeful that we can keep the same presentation agenda for this rescheduled conference.  We will keep you updated should there be changes in the CEs being offered.  Although we may need to change some of the presenters, we should still be able to offer close to 11 hours of CE.

We will plan to keep registration open at this time for the changed conference dates. Emails will be going out to anyone who registered providing them with their options.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at admin@northtexasnursepractitioners.com.   Due to the influx of emails, please allow 24-48 hours for a response.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as the NTNP Board reviewed detailed information to make the best possible informed decision while considering the safety and well-being of our conference attendees, speakers, supporters, and volunteers.
