NTNP 2021 Elections - Submit Nominations by September 17

It is that time of year again, time to nominate yourself or someone else to run for the NTNP Executive Board.  

Positions available for election this year include:

President-elect: The President-elect will function as the President in his/her absence, will assist with committee chair decisions and committee planning, will chair the NTNP Conference committee, and will assist in nominations for elections.

The president-elect will serve as the President the following year.  The President will preside over all meetings of the Association and Executive Committee. The president will be the NTNP representative at large throughout the local community, state, and nation, including representing NTNP on the Texas Nurse Practitioners President’s Council and at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners National Conference and Region 6 meetings. 

Secretary: The secretary will keep minutes of business, membership, and executive board meetings. All such minutes shall be made available for executive committee review and approval. The secretary shall serve as correspondent for the organization and maintain official documents and files of NTNP.

Both positions are for a two (2) year term.  

If you are interested in running, please submit the following information to admin@northtexasnursepractitioners.com by September 17:

  • Name
  • Biography (leadership experience, offices held previously, etc...)
  • Short message stating why you should be elected to this position

Elections will take place the end of September with the installation of our new officers in October. 

We encourage any non-student member to submit your name for consideration for these positions.  Our organization cannot operate without wonderful volunteer leaders like yourselves. Please consider running for office!
