GREAT NEWS TO REPORT FROM TNP!!!!!!!!!

SB 406 has been set on the General State Calendar. The bill, subject to House rules, is now eligible for debate no earlier than 36 hours after posting on the Calendar. Look for the bill to come to the floor either Saturday or Monday. We are once again in business and one step closer to passing our agreed to measure.

By Tuesday evening, we will hopefully be celebrating our bill passing through both the House and Senate. The next required step would be for the bill to return to the Senate where we fully expect them to concur on changes that were agreed to by all parties and added to the bill in the form of a committee substitute. Once this step is completed, it is on to Governor Perry for his signature.

While we have not yet completed the marathon, we have rounded the corner and can see the finish line. Keep praying, hoping, wishing, whatever you do to will good luck, that SB 406 does not hit a snag.
