AARP Support for NPs in Texas

Follow the link and read a great article that was in the AARP magazine supporting removing regulatory barriers on APRNs.  

The AARP carries a lot of political influence around the capitol and it would be a good thing if you were to email this to your state representative and senator.  If you do forward this, please also ask them to support HB 708 by Representative Kelly Hancock.  

We are making progress and Representative Hancock is already talking with the current chair of the Public Health Committee, Lois Kolkhorst about setting HB 708 for a hearing at the earliest date possible.  He is chomping at the bit to get this bill moving so we need to be prepared to help him in every way possible.
